Invites

Three ideas for cards.

Instead of going all out and buying expensive invitations, it would be simple (and cheaper, depending) to make them. The first is a plain red card. (shown: back/front) ($20 for 50 at http://www.1stopsquare.com/cardstock/greeting.html) Information would be printed on lightweight, pretty paper that can be purchased from any office supply store and attached to the inside with glue. The outside of the cards would be sprayed with spray-on glitter. (http://www.misterart.com/store/view/003/group_id/1188/Krylon-Glitter-Spray.htm) Ribbons can be purchased online fairly cheaply. Simply tie the ribbons around the card. These colors mimic the bruce tartan plaid.

The second card is a plain white card with a tartan design (printed out on paper and glued to the card) and with a stenciled griffin (which, by the way, is scottish) and celtic knotwork (also scottish). This would represent two parts becoming one - Denny's family plaid and A's griffin.

Lastly, the third idea. The card with the pretty edge.
http://www.doubleupaper.com/detail.asp?mod=JRE It really isn't that expensive. The cheapest envelopes are the A1 envelope listed below.

All three ideas will cost about $100 for 200 invites.
